Get InvolvedBecoming a member of the Alliance is a great way togive back to the community. It doesn’t take much to make a difference, consider volunteering your time and talent by being part of our committee or make a donation of any amount, so we can continue our mission to end domestic violence. We consider our Alliance an excellent resource for providing the community with information about domestic violence. Our group is happy to partner in local resource fairs, speak at membership meetings or offer education materials and possible referrals to local agencies. We hope to continue our efforts by being a visible and resourceful organization in the community so domestic violence victims will no longer need to suffer in silence. One of our current campaigns is called the Men’s Initiative. The Initiative promotes the idea that all men must take an active role and be a part of stopping domestic violence and abuse against women. The Alliance knows that many organizations put their effort in educating women about domestic violence. Men must take responsibility to recognize subtle actions that support violence.
